The house of prayer ministries church was founded and established in August 2016 by Pastors Neo & Lerato Khoaripe.
As a church, we understand the importance of discovering and connecting to your earthly assignment as a human being. A lack of purpose can cause you to live a fruitless life, a life without bearing fruit and fulfilling what God has called you to do. We believe that every human being has been set apart for a particular assignment and once that assignment is complete the Father, of spirits which is the Almighty God will then call you back home to be with Him in eternity.
Ours as a church is to help you connect to your why and to fulfil it with passion through the help of the Holy Spirit. We believe that our teachings will lead you to the direction that God wants you to take for your life. A purpose-driven life is a life that will strongly impact those around you to also desire to know who they really are. Self-Identity and self-renewal are paramount to us. To live a fully functional life you must be able to answer this question: Who am I?

As a church centered around the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we use this time of the year to celebrate and honor our Lord Jesus Christ for conquering and defeating the power of sin and the grave. His resurrection means the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him and we praise and acknowledge His resurrection from the dead. To us that is the essence of our Christian faith.
1st Weekend of July
Night of Pulling Down Strongholds (NOPS)
Many struggle with spiritual fortresses that have exalted themselves against the knowledge of God but we are able to extinguish these mindset attacks by pulling down strongholds and applying the weapons of warfare according to 2 Corinthians 10:4 – For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.
1st Weekend of August
Annual church celebration
Every year this time we take time to remember and celebrate what the Lord has done through our church. Our church anniversary is a big deal to us. We celebrate our anniversary over 3 days reflecting on how God has shaped this ministry and reinforcing the culture thereof. Through celebrating our anniversary we build a mindset in newcomers and for us, this is a prime time for influence.
1st Weekend of October
Night of Deliverance (NOD)
In life, we don’t just make it, but we make it through daily victorious living. Spiritual warfare is real and many have neglected this reality. There are people who have genuinely tried everything possible to succeed using tested principles but still failed. That’s how satanic oppression operates, if you are bound spiritually it will be impossible for you to break through in the natural and that’s why God has anointed our ministry to set the captives free according to Luke 4:18. Once a year we hold this night of deliverance service to help those who are bound spiritually.

Night of Unbelievable Breakthroughs (NOUB)
At times people face insurmountable challenges and all they can think of is how to break forth from those persistent barriers. Feeling dissatisfied with your current level is proof enough that you are designed to access greater levels. This annual event came as a revelation from God to help midwife God’s people break through the walls of stagnation and access their next level. The Bible teaches us that the anointing is the burden removing power of God – Isaiah 10:27
“Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” James 5:14 ESV
